Senior Frontend Developer (React)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced React developer to lead our frontend team in building next-generation web applications. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing complex user interfaces while mentoring junior developers.

As a key member of our product engineering team, you'll collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality React applications using modern best practices
• Lead technical discussions and architecture decisions for frontend projects
• Optimize applications for maximum performance across devices and browsers
• Implement responsive UIs from Figma designs with pixel-perfect precision
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design efficient APIs
• Establish and maintain frontend testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E)
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and advocate for their adoption

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• 3+ years of production experience with React and TypeScript
• Expertise in modern React (hooks, context, suspense, concurrent mode)
• Deep understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
• Experience with modern CSS (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, CSS Modules)
• Strong knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment processes
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js or other React frameworks
• Knowledge of Webpack, Vite, or other build tools
• Backend development experience (Node.js, Python, etc.)
• Contributions to open source projects
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
